D40's are good though I personally use a D80 as of Jan 07 xD the first digital camera I actually liked espeacially after using those itsy bitsy Powershot ones.

I was going to get the D80, only it was much too expensive for me. And now there's the D40x! Hah, and yeah. I had a Powershot SD 300. So compared to that, I definitely do not regret spending less and getting the D40.

The only reason I got a D80 was because I had only one other digi-camera and it had a built in lense. And have fun with your camera, I know that I love mine very much *hugs camera* even though it kills color on my drawings. xD
